Produced to commemorate the 50th anniversary of D-Day. The programme continues to be broadcast by The History Channel and Discovery Channel. "D-Day Heroes" was approved by the MOD and required extensive research on both sides of the Atlantic. It includes chilling first hand accounts from veterans in the United States, Great Britain, Germany and France.
